Stock removal

Stock removal is the process by which items are removed from a warehouse and prepared for despatch or further processing. This can be done manually or by automated machines, such as storage and retrieval machines or automated guided vehicles. The items are then transported to a dispatch area where they are packed and prepared for further transport or processing. Efficient retrieval processes help to reduce throughput times and significantly improve warehouse logistics, which is of great importance in modern warehouse systems.
